New Haven, CT 6/5/12 Susan Renkon (C) and Giancarlo Accettullo (L), both of New Haven, watch the transit of Venus, a once in a lifetime event, at the Leitner Family Observatory and Planetarium in New Haven Tuesday evening. Over three hundred people came out despite overcast clouds that threatened to thwart any chance of seeing the transit but those that did come out were rewarded greatly through their “eclipse glasses”.
