America’s Cup Dreams

The two Stars and Stripes racing boats at Pilots Point Marina were built by Dennis Conner in 1990 as training boats for the America’s Cup. Berthed at Pilots Point, they are now available for charter and often used for corporation team building seminars. The America’s Cup that is happening right now in San Francisco is far different from the days when this class of boat was used. Today’s contestants are 72′ super light and super fast catamarans which can go more than 50 mph.
