Connecticut Day At 2013 Big E

It was Connecticut Day a the Eastern States Exposition, or more commonly known as the Big E, in West Springfield Wednesday. The Expo, which runs from September 13 thru the 29th, gives each state their own day which allows them to highlight their unique products and exhibits and present activities and entertainment on their lawn.

Lego Corporation, which has an office in Enfield, took over a large portion of the Connecticut building to build a mural of Lego's interpretation of the four seasons of Connecticut. Children have been assembling 5,600 color coded squares made up of six by pieces of legos, which are then attached to the mural according to their number.
