It was Connecticut Day a the Eastern States Exposition, or more commonly known as the Big E, in West Springfield Wednesday. The Expo, which runs from September 13 thru the 29th, gives each state their own day which allows them to highlight their unique products and exhibits and present activities and entertainment on their lawn.

- Promise (at left) and Putnam have become best friends and colleagues in their work at the Enfield police department where they work in the same Enfield K-9 Unit with Officer Brian Croteau. Promise, who is ten years old, will soon retire. Putnam, who is almost two years old, wil start training soon with Croteau.
