Annual Rice Harvest in Northern Vietnam

Due to hard farming conditions, the Mu Cang Chai district of Vietnam yields only one rice crop per year. Local residents, primarily from the Hmong hill tribe of the mountainous northern province of Yen Bai, harvest rice in early October.
