2013.10.07 – Bolton, CT – “You don’t have to pay for gas for a motor, you can launch just about anywhere and it’s good exercise,” says Scott Killian of Cromwell, putting his windsail in today at Bolton Lake under gray skies. Killian, a 12-year Army veteran who used to work in “production management and began windsurfing in high school now drives a tow truck for a living. “I have two passions in life, towing cars and windsurfing.” Before taking off into the lake’s breezes he added, “This is really where you say, ‘life is good.'” ¬†Photograph by Mark Mirko | mmirko@courant.com
