In the Wake of Typhoon Haiyan

Typhoon Haiyan slammed into the southern Philippines, devastating entire communities and leaving a trail of death and destruction it its wake. Hundreds of thousands were forced to evacuate, and dazed survivors begged for help while scavenging for food, water and medicine. The huge scale of death became clearer amid reports of thousands of people missing. Some towns have yet to be reached by rescue workers.
