Spring training is in full swing at the Yankees spring training ball park in Tampa, Florida. Fans are able to see their players, albeit through a fence, and in some cases, get an autograph. Derek Jeter, who announced that this would be his last season, played for the first time this season and there was a big crowd to see him.

At that point, Promise will remain at home and Putnam will go to work as the drug-sniffing dog for the Enfield Police Department. PATRICK RAYCRAFT | firstname.lastname@example.org
- Renata Wawszkiewicz, of Bristol, shows her daughter, Olivia, 2, a shell she found on the beach while holding Olivia's little sister, Kamila, 7 months, at Hammonasset Beach State Park Wednesday. The Wawszkiewiczes stopped at the beach to get some fresh air after going to a doctors appointment nearby. "I've been coming here since I was a kid and we camp here every summer," said Wawszkiewicz. "I just love the beach." CLOE POISSONemail@example.com
