Chris Shays was the strongest, but Linda McMahon shows surprising game, particularly with her emphasis on middle class issues. I’d like to see these two in a head-to-head tussle. Brian K. Hall proves he’s got something to say and hey, maybe we do need a senate candidate who drives a Mini Cooper! But talk about a morning that Democrats can feel happy about — these GOP candidates did nothing to appeal to the centrist voters who will decide the fall election. Will somebody remind Kie Westby and Peter Lumaj that this is Connecticut and not Mississippi?
