Ballotpedia Report on General Assembly Races
My post yesterday linked to a Ballotpedia report stating that Connecticut was facing a particularly non-competitive election season with few incumbents facing a primary challenge. The key here is a PRIMARY challenge. Most incumbents face no challenge from within their own party, the Ballotpedia report emphasized.
My headline should have made clear this was about primary races and not the general election.
As the office of Secretary of the State Denise Merrill reports, there are contests in most house and senate races in the general election this fall.

Gee Rick, what does it say about your reporting skills when you can’t even get a basic fact like that right. I read your article yesterday and thought it was off somehow. With the campaign financing program, most candidates do face a challenger in the general election these days.
Good point Allen.
