Electric Boat Face-Off
Linda McMahon’s visit to shake hands with workers at Electric Boat this week sent a shock wave through the campaigns of Democrat Chris Murphy and Republican rival Chris Shays. Both said McMahon had no idea how to save jobs at the submarine-building operation that employs thousands and depends on huge government defense contracts to survive.
McMahon, however, beat them to the punch and grabbed the first headlines. The two Chrises look like they are chasing after her, despite the fact that McMahon hasn’t offered any coherent strategy detailing how she would protect Connecticut from the next round of defense cuts.
Next week, Shays will try to go one better, talking to workers before the 6 a.m. and the 3 p.m. shifts. He’ll hold a press conference and be joined by local politicians.

Its getting really hard to differentiate Chris Shays from Chris Murphy these days.
That’s because they are one and the same. Say what you want about Linda McMahon, but you cannot deny that she is working her tail off. The real difference here is that Chris Shays and Chris Murphy believe it is their birthright to be a United States Senator. Linda McMahon on the other hand, would never predispose such arrogance.
Congressman Shays is no Chris Murphy….take the time to check their records…….Mr . Murphy is but arubber stamp for his party whereas Congressman Shays has always voted based on the interests of his district and his principles…qualities sadly lacking today in both houses of congress.Ms McMahon also ,tows the party line with little understanding of the complexity of the issues …. Case in point , her comments about BRAC..she should have studied a little more diligently before her photo op at EB….no wonder she won’t debate in her home district……certainly the voters in the fourth will take that snub to the voting booth in August….. but then they already know her…….
By election time there will be a new theme: is it treason to support the installation of anti-American (and anti-Israeli) regimes in the Mid East?
Reagan tempered self-determinism with capitalism and a strong anti-Communism stance. Obama is on the brink of funding the installation of 3 vocal anti-American regimes (powered by Facebook® and Twitter®).
McMahon might walk in the door for all the wrong reasons.
Or course the good news is Israel is now preparing for the inevitable confrontation with Egypt while the Lords of War fund both sides.

The Orthodox Union supports Romney over school vouchers and the contraception mandate. What about AIPAC? If they back Romney then …. Lee Whitnum will be……well….she might have something to say about the subject.
I can envision some ugly scenarios here if the ball bounces the wrong way in the Mid East. Shares of 1980 “Bill Casey in Paris” campaign manipulation stuff complete with arms, hostages and copter crashes in the desert.
In 2007 Obama’s Religious Congregation, the UCC, headed by CT’s John Thomas, was accused of anti-Semitism by many Jewish pundits and recieved a rebuke from 8 Jewish Organizations.
>> Eight Jewish groups rebuked the United Church of Christ for what they said was an imbalanced statement on Israel. The letter crafted last week by the Jewish Council for Public Affairs, the umbrella body for policy groups, targeted a UCC statement marking 40 years of Israel’s occupation of disputed lands. While noting that the UCC statement committed itself to Israel’s security, the Jewish letter said the church document failed to mention Israeli peace overtures, Palestinian rejection of the overtures and “brutal Palestinian campaigns of terror aimed at innocent Israeli children and families.” The UCC response to the Jewish letter said it was the church’s position that Israel’s actions are the “context for and, in many cases, a cause of” violence on both sides. Joining the JCPA in the letter were the Conservative, Reform and Reconstructionist movements; the American Jewish Congress, the American Jewish Committee, the Anti-Defamation League and B’nai B’rith International.<<
THe always controversial Obama Pastor Rev Wright was in play again this year with anti-Zionist comments and marching for some questionable holocaust denial allies.

How long before Obama says his position on Palestine and Israel has been evolving and he no longer supports the suppression of Democratically elected anti-American and anti-Israeli forces and would rather encourage their continued success in the name of self-determinism?
We won’t hear that before Election Day. Will we hear it in 2013?
Seriously. What is Obama up to in the Mid East? Hamas celebrated Mosni’s victory with prayers, Egyptian flags, and then the Gaza militants fired over 30 rockets and mortar shells into Israel’s southern flank after hooking up with a small group of al-queda militia.
