Why is Lee Whitnum — who has made U.S. support for Israel and the American Israel Political Affairs Committee the focus of her campaign for the U.S. Senate — granting a radio interview to a group that the Southern Poverty Law Center calls a “white nationalist” hate group?
Voice of Reason radio, based in Prospect, specializes in radio programs featuring the Ku Klux Klan, white supremacists and the problem of “Jewish virulence.” Host Robert Stark recently interviewed former KKK Grand Wizard David Duke. The Anti-Defamation League says the network “hosts a number of anti-semitic and extremist broadcasts.”
On March 28, Whitnum was interviewed for the group’s Internet radio program, “The Stark Truth.” During the interview, Whitnum states:
I’m out to be the one United States Senator who fights for what’s in the best interests of the United States.
Whitnum did not return an e-mail requesting a comment about her appearance on the radio program.

Along the lines of “Fired from Head Start for appearing with Michele Rhee! CT Teacher’s Union heavy-handed tactics under investigation”.
Suggestions of racketeering and a National non-profit is picking up the cause.

Number of States won by: Obama: 19 McCain: 29

Population of counties won by: Obama: 127 million McCain: 143 million
Murder rate per 100,000 residents in counties won by: Obama: 13.2 McCain: 2.1
Professor Olson adds: “In aggregate, the map of the territory McCain won was
mostly the land owned by the taxpaying citizens of the country.
Obama territory mostly encompassed those citizens living in low income
tenements and living off various forms of government welfare…”
Olson believes the United States is now somewhere between the
“complacency and apathy” phase of Professor Tyler’s definition of democracy,
with some forty percent of the nation’s population already having reached
the “governmental dependency” phase.
If Congress grants amnesty and citizenship to twenty million criminal
invaders called illegal’s – and they vote – then we can say goodbye to the
USA in fewer than five years.

As the the one who hosted the interview I would like the point out the absurdity of smearing Whitnum because certain guest on my show express white nationalist views. I have interviewed many different guest of many of whom are non-white or Jewish. You use the ADL as a reference that VOR is racist but the ADL itself supports a foreign nation which suppresses the rights of minorities to preserve its ethnic identity and has stated that that Israel must remain a Jewish State. What gives the ADL a right to decide who is racist?
Whitnum is not a White Nationalist but she is for putting American interested first and is also a humanitarian who is concerned for all peoles. Your guilt by association tactics are pure sleaze.

I haven’t heard the interview Rick, but the fact that Lee Whitnum is turning to internet venues for an opportunity to express her opinions, may be a sign that printed media does not enjoy the confidence of free-thinking Americans.
Have you given the candidate liberal opportunity to express her views? Have you done so without shaping her image, based solely on one foreign policy question? Arguably, she has put the Israel Question out front – and why shouldn’t she? America has been fighting two wars, and may fight a third, with little debate, for the sake of “Israel’s security.” Isn’t that worth some analysis?
It seems that almost all of her views are compatible with those held by the Hartford Courant – it’s odd that some attempt to disqualify her as a candidate, solely on the basis of her tilt away from Israel – and for that, some even seek to deny her the right to speak at all. Are you one of them?

What she asserts is well documented by Israel ’s own historians and is only the tip of a 6-decade iceberg that has been steadily adding more and more lies to cover the previous ones. Israel was born in “original sin” (per Israeli historians Benny Morris and Avi Shlaim) by terrorism and ethnic cleansing followed by invention of a heroic creation myth, “memoricide” (per Israeli historian Ilan Pappe) against the people they dispossessed, and defiance of international law (the Palestinian right of return under Articles 13 and 17 of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, affirmed by UNGA 194 in December 1948, as well as its own yet-unfulfilled pledge as a condition of its 1949 admission to the UN). The 1948 ethnic cleansing through terrorism including over 30 massacres (the Nakba) – not simply Israel ’s 1967 illegal land seizures and subsequent continuous, brutal colonization that has compounded the original sin – is the heart of the problem. Admission of this original sin and restitution to its victims as well as those of the continuing Nakba is the only path to justice, the necessary precondition for an enduring peace still demanded by almost 90% of Palestinian refugees and those under occupation. All of “progressive Zionism” (e.g., Tikkun, J Street , Avnery) is a desperate effort to avoid this outcome which would achieve freedom, justice and equality for all citizens of historic Palestine and end Israel ’s racist claim to be a “Jewish” state. If you dig down deep enough there’s some interesting stuff there on White Nazi Radio.
The stuff I find appealing tends to be the tribal anarchist stuff.
The original US Constitution was written flexible enough to accommodate an Amish Community living next to a Catholic Community living next to an Arab community next to a Timothy Leery Commune next to an Indian Reservation next to a town kibbutz–all of them little cultural experiments and formed as legal towns and not subject to one-size-fits-all enforced secularism.
CT respects consenting adults in the bedroom but doesn’t respect the consenting plurality of adults forming a tribal cultural community subject to their own cultural laws and language.

But the SPLC are not really an authority on that matter according to a great many ordinary people. Sorry to break it to you mr. Green. They are an enterprise out to make money by smearing people on the right, especially people with nationalist sympathies.
