All the candidates for U.S. Senate have released their income tax forms, except one — Linda McMahon.
Where are they?
“The accountants are working on them,” McMahon spokesman Tim Murtaugh told me today.
Will this be before the Aug. 14 primary I asked?
“I don’t know,” Murtaugh said. “They will be finished when they are done.”
McMahon, like thousands of taxpayers, has an extension and must file her returns by Oct. 15.
What do you think? Should a candidate who has made cutting taxes the foundation of her campaign for office release her own income tax information before the Aug. 14 primary?

If she hasn’t had to file this year’s yet, then I have a solution….. release last year’s filings. Problem solved!

No, but a President who runs on education AND promises to release his transcripts and college records should be held to his word. Same deal here.

For instance their Greenwich property taxes are 1/4 of what I pay.
And their effective federal tax rate is 15%, since they take all their WWE profits out as dividend income. What do you think the rest of us are stuck paying?
Of course Linda jokes that she wants to lower everyone else’s taxes down to 15% as well. As if that were possible without taking this country even deeper into debt?

You want to have this debate? Sure.
Sure, her dividends get taxed at 15%, so do yours. Except for every $1 in profit her husband’s company makes, he has to pay $.38 in taxes on profit. And then when he pays out a dividend using the remaining $.72, the government takes another $.10. So in essence, he’s paid about HALF! You pay half?
Property taxes are a totally different story. Just because you have more house than you can reasonably afford does not make her a bad person. You have the choice to move someplace cheaper. If you’re unhappy with the amount of property taxes you pay, move.

You’re right, the “independent CT media” wrote it. They have no allegiances whatsoever, and would never do a candidate’s bidding to support their own agendas. That never happens, thank goodness.
If Obama is as intelligent as the Left continually tells us…you’d think old Barry would be proud to display his college transcripts!
Trust me, if his records were as good as the media cheers for them…the most narcissistic president ever would make sure the whole country saw them.

He won’t release his college transcripts because he probably listed himself as a foreigner in order to get into college and free U.S. govt money to pay for his degree. He used the system to his benefit when he needed it.
How convienent the campaign is unsure of when her taxes will be done…..oh right,she has only been running for the past three years I have to guess she was unaware of the situation…sound familiar? Ms. McMahon seems out of the loop on so many things lately …..lawsuit against the JI, BRAC,her taxes….to name a few…..wake up people …she is not like you ,nor does she feel your pain. Have any of you watched that “secret McMahon” video the Dems released? It’s so bad it’s hilarious! You’d think she murdered someone. So far, Shays and the Dems have nothing but WWE and tax returns that haven’t been released. It’s amateur hour (again).
