And it’s from the Republican-backed State Government Leadership Foundation.

Chris Christie this last weekend: Republican politicians are leading the way for better educational opportunities for poor and minority children through voucher programs for private schools, while Democrats passively stand by or obstruct their efforts.

Mitt Romney said Wednesday that President Obama’s lack of support for the voucher program in Washington, D.C., is “inexcusable.”

Christie made the remarks Thursday at the American Federation for Children and the Alliance for School Choice’s annual policy summit in Jersey City. He said it was “ironic” that he, Gov. Bobby Jindal of Louisiana and Gov. Mitch Daniels of Indiana—all Republicans—were the leaders in school choice.

Louisiana and Indiana state-wide voucher programs include private and parochial schools.

Louisiana is just another state celebrating education reform and religious freedom. To date, Northeast bigotry is tough to crack. The marriage of structural racism and union fascism runs deep in Yankee veins :) .

Good article from last month’s Jewish Press on the anti-Catholic Blaine Amendments and the unintended consequences for New York’s Jewish community in their pursuit of school vouchers.

Florida has a repeal of the anti-Catholic laws on the ballot this November. A repeal will make Catholic schools eligible for vouchers as they were until 2006 when a Florida judge enforced a law amny thought was as dead as Jim Crow laws.

By 2020 ten states will be voucher states without restrictions. The parents will choose.

School reform in CT is a timid joke.

Rick, you should have differentiated between the teachers & the union in the headline. The ad is clearly targeting the union, not the teachers. Unions act in the teacher’s best interest, not the students.

The sad think about one-party rule is that there is no push-back…CT is a liberal’s heaven, unions and Democrats go together like cookies and milk, pizza and beer, and Obama and lies.
CT, the Nutmeg State, looking more and more like San Francisco with each passing election.
