POTUS Speaking Gov. Malloy’s Language

President Obama used a speech to the National Governors Association this morning to urge them to focus on education reform and funding.  In remarks that no doubt made Gov. Malloy — who is proposing both reforms and about $130 million in new school money – sit up straight, Obama said:

Nothing more clearly signals what you value as a state as the decisions you make about where to invest … Budgets are about choices, so today I’m calling on you to choose to invest more in teachers, invest more in education, and invest more in our children and their future.

Talking about education makes Obama appear wise
As he dreams of another four year prize
His socialistic ways make me hollar
    Just follow the Almighty dollar
If Obama wins again it will be our total demise

It could be worse: Obama could commit to an August Civic Center rally to speak in favor of the Hartford Viaduct Project.

We’ve been investing in Education for years there Rick the liberal. See where its got us? Teacher unions dug in to protect the worst among them; lower test scores; lost ground relative to other countries.

A liberal never met a program for which he/she didn’t want to spend more money we don’t have to “improve”.

Look how the great society is workin’ out for us? Lets throw more money at that and keep the urban poor in their hellholes in exchange for a secure Democrat voting block.

Wake up people- the liberals are in charge.
