School Reform In Hartford Means Shutting Out Media
It sounds like the good old days are back in Hartford, with fresh efforts by Superintendent of Schools Christina Kishimoto to shut down access to public meetings.
According to the Real Hartford blog, school officials would rather not have delicate governance issues at Classical Magnet School discussed publicly:
Unless there is a plan to force all meeting attendees to hand over their wireless devices, the Hartford Schools may want to reconsider such bans as they are impossible to enforce and suggest something is being hidden …
The lack of transparency with parents, students, and staff seems equal to the lack of transparency with the news media, who to date have not received any press release about the shift in leadership at Classical Magnet School and Burns Latino Studies Academy.

Can we shut out the media for the November 6, 2012 election for president too Rick? Besides looking good in a suit, and a 2004 DNC speech…why did you vote for Obama in 2008?
So, according to an article I just read, Samuel L. Jackson voted for Barack Obama because he was black. In Jackson’s words, “Cuz that’s why other folks vote for other people — because they look like them.”
Okay, so let me get this straight. Jackson votes for Obama because he’s black but Jackson’s not a racist. I didn’t vote for Obama because of his policies, but I am a racist.
I don’t get it.
Anybody paying attention knows the true racists are the liberal Democrats and their polices that keep minorities down.
