A new Q-Poll today confirms what previous surveys, Linda McMahon and Chris Murphy have known for a while: women are the key demographic this year. The Quinnipiac survey of New Jersey voters shows that President Obama is swamping Mitt Romney in the Garden State, largely because women don’t trust the the presumptive Republican nominee. As in, rich guys with offshore bank accounts are something to worry about.

It’s only New Jersey and it’s only July but this is a huge problem for Republicans.

Looks like the courant already made up its decision on who the two party nominees are

Not bad, In the last week I’ve read the Catholic, Hispanic, Black, and Women’s vote will decide the elections.

The most interesting race in Jersey: Rabbi Shmuley Boteach in the NJ 9th for Congress (GOP).

The Rabbi has a sense of humor: Boteach offered to mediate the Democratic debate due to the nasty fratricide on the Democratic side of the slate in the 9th (it’s like CT’s 5th after redistricting with two Democratic incumbents now at war for one seat).

The Rabbi’s platform? School vouchers and a modern take on nuclear family values. Continued US support for Mid East Democracies.

It’s a lesson some in CT could learn from.
