5-Day Tag Sale at Beth Hillel in Bloomfield

If you brake for tag sales, put Beth Hillel Synagogue’s four-day event on your calendar. Merchandise includes furniture, books, clothing, linens and household items. The sale, at 160 Wintonbury Ave., Bloomfield, kicks off this Friday and Sunday, July 6 and 8, from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., then carries over into next week. (No sale hours on Saturday.) On Monday and Tuesday, July 9 and 10, from 8:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m., put whatever you can fit into a bag for $5 or get 50 percent off items too big to fit into a bag. Information: 860-242-5561.
