CT Tax-Free Week Starts Sunday

by Categorized: Uncategorized Tagged: Date:

Connecticut begins its annual tax-free week Sunday, which means that for the next seven days shoppers will save the 6.35 percent sales tax on most clothing and shoe purchases priced under $300. And though many retail promotions are linked to back-to-school, shoppers can save on adult clothing and footwear – and on a number of other items, like cloth and disposable baby diapers, square dancing clothes and scout uniforms.
