Free Juneteenth Family Day at Wadsworth Atheneum

Juneteenth Family Day is Saturday at the Wadsworth Atheneum Museum of Art, 600 Main St., Hartford. The day of free family fun starts at 10 a.m. and goes until 4 p.m. Decorate cupcakes at 2:30 p.m. or participate in dance workshops by Equilibrium Dance Theatre. There will also be a host of other activities, such as face painting and a screening of “Summer of Freedom,” a student documentary on Martin Luther King, Jr. in Connecticut, at 1:30 p.m. As a part of the CT Open House Day, the museum will offer free admission from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Information: 860-278-2670.
