On September 29, 2012, theHarriet Beecher Stowe Center in Hartford — and more than 1,400 cultural venues across the country — will offer free admission as part of the eighth annual Museum Day Live. The event is sponsored by the Smithsonian Institute and you can download free passes at their website, www.Smithsonian.com/museumday. One ticket (admits two) is permitted per household per email address.
