On Saturday, Nov. 9, visit the 22nd annual Ye Olde Country Fair at Plantsville Congregational Church, 109 Church St., in the Plantsville section of Southington. L.P. Wilson Community Center, 599 Matianuck Avenue in Windsor, holds a holiday fair on Saturday, November 9, from 9 2p.m.

The 31th Annual Christmas Cottage Craft Fair will be held on Thursday, Friday and Saturday, Nov. 7, 8 and 9, at the Eureka Grange Hall, on Route 202, 777 Litchfield Turnpike, New Hartford. Hours are 3 to 7 p.m. Thursday, 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Friday and 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday.

The St. Bridget’s Guild holds its 10th Annual Shopper’s Delite and Christmas Bazaar on Saturday, Nov. 9. The event, which features craft sales and a gold and silver exchange, takes place at the parish center, 171 Main St., in Cheshire.

Second Congregational Church’s holiday fair takes place on Saturday, Nov. 9 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The event features craft and holiday décor sales and a white elephant section. The church is on Route 44 in Coventry.

The Friends of the Saxton B. Little Free Library are holding a used book sale on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, Nov. 8, 9 and 10. Books are priced from $.25 to $3. Thursday is a preview sale and admission is $5. Admission is free on Saturday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.; and on Sunday, from 11 a.m. to 43 p.m., when books are half-price. Starting Monday, Nov. 11, you can shop like a designer at the Design Center Building, 1429 Park St., Hartford. Design Source CT, a business in the building, is holding a sample sale with furniture and accessories at 50 to 80 percent off. The sale ends On Nov. 15. Hours are 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day. Road trip! If you travel for bargains, check out the warehouse sale at Boston International in Holliston, Mass., this weekend. The company distributes high-end gifts, paper goods, seasonal decor and home accessories. Most merchandise is priced 50 percent below wholesale. (Bring your own bags.)
