The Avon Junior Women’s Club holds a whale of a sale Friday and Saturday at the Avon Senior Center, 635 W. Avon Road in Avon. The spring/summer kids’ consignment event features strollers, toys, sports equipment and clothing. Friday’s hours are 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.; admission is $5. Admission is free on Saturday, when the hours are 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Information: ajwc-ct.org.
