Peppercorn’s Restaurant in Hartford is marking 24 years in business with a “secret” deal – a fixed price Roman tasting menu for $29. The four-course dinner is a terrific bargain and the food – from appetizer to dessert is fabulous – but if you don’t know to ask for it, no one’s going to tell you it’s available.
I’m not sure why Peppercorn’s is keeping this offering on the down low, but take it from me, now that you know, you should plan a visit. The four-course menu costs $29, excluding tax and tip, and will be served through September. For information, call 860-547-1714.
