The Connecticut Historical Society puts Katherine Hepburn back on the big screen with a free outdoor screening of “The Philadelphia Story” on the society’s grounds at 1 Elizabeth St. in Hartford at 8 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 14. As a prelude to the film, the Society’s exhibit, “Katharine Hepburn: Dressed for Stage and Screen,” will be open to the public at no charge from 7 to 8 p.m. (In the event of rain, the movie will be shown indoors.)
