Avon Junior Women’s Club will hold a whale of a sale Friday and Saturday, Oct. 4 and 5, at the Avon Senior Center, 635 W. Avon Road. The infant and children’s consignment event features baby gear, Halloween costumes, strollers, toys, sports equipment and clothing in sizes from newborn to teens. The South Windsor Moms Club holds its 15th semi-annual children’s’ clothing & gear consignment sale on Friday and Saturday, Oct. 4 and 5. The Friends of the Avon Free Public Library host their annual book sale on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, Oct. 4, 5 and 6.
