Join artists and performers for an afternoon of family fun, workshops and performances at the New Britain Museum of American Art’s Family Day on Saturday, Jan. 25 from 12:30 to 3:30 p.m. Activities include iPad art, photography, loom weaving, and theater and dance. If you
arrive at the museum between 10 a.m. and noon, you’ll get in free. After that, admission is $12 for adults, $10 for seniors and $8 for students 12 and over. Information: www.nbmaa.org.
The Connecticut Art Trail Pass, $25, offers one-day admission to 16 museums and historic sites around the state, including the Wadsworth Atheneum, Hill-Stead, New Britian Museum of American Art and the Florence Griswold Museum. It’s The New Britain Museum of American Art 110th birthday — which means art lovers get the gift of free admission on Sunday, April 7. Activities include performances by pantomime artist Robert Rivest from 2 to 3 p.m. and festive art programs in the ArtLab. The museum is at 56 Lexington St. in New Britain.
