If you brake for tag sales, flea markets and thrift shops, get ready for stop-and-go-driving this weekend.

Sunday, June 24, is your last chance to shop the Big K (Kiwanis) Flea Market/Craft Fair in Newington Center, which closes for the summer and re-opens Sunday, Aug. 26. Hours are 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Admission is a $1 donation, and parking is free at the Market Square lot in the center of town.

Congregation Beth Ahm, 362 Palisado Ave., Route 159, in Windsor, holds a tag sale fundraiser on Sunday, June 24, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. (Rain or shine.)

Friend To Friend thrift shop, 32 Spoonville Road, East Granby, holds a $6 summer clothing bag sale through July 7. (All other items in the store are 50 percent off.) Hours are Tuesday, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.; Thursday, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m.; and Saturday, 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Information: 860-651-1659.
