We don’t get to hear a lot of live music at 285 Broad Street. Meanwhile, everyone else does: NPR, KEXP, Relix, etc. Not cool.

So, welcome to our new bi-weekly podcast called In the White Room, which will feature local players with upcoming shows and/or new albums to promote. (You also have to be willing to perform in an abandoned photo studio.)

Our producer is the super-talented Sara Grant, and our guests this week were Wise Old Moon’s Connor Millican (vocals and guitar) and Noah Boden (fiddle), who killed it on a song called “Day Grifter” from their debut album “The Patterns.”

Connor also hung around after the shoot to answer some questions (read that conversation here). Be sure to check out Wise Old Moon’s website, and get over to Arch Street Tavern in Hartford on July 26 for the release show.
