Cue the screaming karaoke hordes.

Bon Jovi is officially kicking off the North American leg of his world tour at Mohegan Sun on February 9.

The “Because We Can” tour is a preview to the rocker’s new album, titled ‘What About Now,’ which is due out next Spring. Tickets go on sale this Monday, Dec 10, through Ticketmaster at 10 a.m. for $125 and $195.

Bon Jovi has been in the news for tragic reasons lately, after his daughter was found unresponsive last month from an apparent heroin overdose (she has since recovered). He’s also part of the huge bill of global artists playing a benefit for the victims of Superstorm Sandy at Madison Square Garden on Dec 12.

He talked about both, and the new album, in a recent interview with the Associated Press. You can read that interview here.
