Dave Matthews Band Announces December Show At Mohegan

Dave Matthews Band will be playing the Nutmeg State for the second time this year.

The group will be playing the Mohegan Sun Arena on Saturday, Dec 8.

Tickets go on sale Oct 19 at 10 a.m. through Ticketmaster, and cost $80 and $70.

Over the years Dave Matthews and his crew have become something of a fixture at the Comcast Theatre in Hartford, playing nearly every year when the weather gets warm.

Of particular note is the rambunctious tailgating crowd that gathers outside the venue each time (oh and those riots in 1999). While Mohegan Sun does have ample parking lots, December is a little cold for tossing footballs from the back of a pickup truck.
