The man behind The Motto is making a return to Hartford this fall.

Drake announced a nationwide, 41 date arena tour on Monday morning in support of his upcoming album, “Nothing Was The Same,” which is expected to hit the street this fall. The tour is named, somewhat tongue in cheek, the “Would You Like A Tour?” tour. It includes a stop at Hartford’s XL Center on October 26.

Drizzy was in the capital city last summer on his Club Paradise tour at the Comcast Theatre, which was co-opted by local hip hop station Hot 93.7 as their Summer Jam concert. That show was a massive bill that included Waka Flocka Flame, 2 Chainz, J. Cole, and Meek Mill along with Connecticut’s Jitta On The Track. This appearance’s lineup isn’t as huge, though Grammy Award winner Miguel opens. Despite the overly publicized ‘fall’ during his Grammy performance (seriously, did you see how far that jump was?), Miguel puts on an incredibly physical performance punctuated by splits and spins. He was on the bill for Hot 93.7’s Jingle Jam 2012 (photos here), and recently opened for Alicia Keys at MGM Grand at Foxwoods.

Tickets for the concert go on sale this Friday at 10 a.m. through Ticketmaster, though prices have not yet been released. Check back for updates when prices are released.
