California’s Dum Dum Girls were all set to make their Connecticut debut at last May’s undersized B.O.M.B. Fest in Hartford when a death in the family for one of the band members forced the indie-rock foursome to cancel.
Now they’re headed back this way for a concert with Widowspeak Feb. 9 at The Space in Hamden, Manic Productions announced this morning. Tickets are $15.
Since forming in 2008, the band has released three EPs and two full-length albums, including last year’s “Only in Dreams” LP The band also recorded an excellent cover of the Smiths’ “There is a Light That Never Goes Out” on the EP “He Gets Me High.”
