Hartford area’s Echo & Drake got some big exposure recently, when they were chosen as finalists in a competition to perform as part of the Grammys on Feb. 9.
The band was one of about 1,500 to enter the contest, which was determined by online voting. Fans pushed them into first place for the New England region, making them finalists.
Within Reason, a rock band out of Birmingham, were announced Tuesday as winners of the contest. But for the local boys, coming in 7th nationally is nothing to shake a stick at.
