Eric Clapton Playing At Mohegan Sun April 5
Legend and triple inductee into the Rock and Roll Hall Of Fame Eric Clapton will play at the Mohegan Sun Arena this spring.
Tickets to his April 5 concert go on sale Monday, Dec 3 at 10 a.m. through Ticketmaster. Seats are $185 and $135. The Wallflowers open for him on the 17 date tour.
Clapton’s work extends well past his work with Cream and the Yardbirds, as he’s worked with some of the biggest names in music from The Beatles to Elton John and Bob Dylan.
His U.S. tour culminates with the 2013 Crossroads Music Festival one week after after the Mohegan date, on April 12. This two-day festival, his fourth since 2004, is at New York’s Madison Square Garden. It brings together a huge amount of blues and rock talent, including BB King, Buddy Guy, Los Lobos, Jeff Beck, John Mayer, and Keith Urban.
Tickets to that festival are on sale November 30 at noon through Ticketmaster.

What shame that most the 47% won’t be able to go to this concert. It’s not like he needs the money. Greedy promoters and venues fuel high ticket prices. Although I would like to see him again — in 1969 w/Blind Faith, tickets were $7 — I refuse to pay high ticket prices for ANY concert.
