Grand Band Slam Music Fest Takes Over 13 Venues This Weekend

It’s only Wednesday, and you’re probably still making weekend plans. Here’s an option for the top of your list.

Finalists from The Advocate’s Grand Band Slam are playing at 13 different venues across the state, including Two Boots, Cafe Nine, and the Wadsworth Atheneum. That’s 42 bands.

These follow ups to last week’s first annual Connecticut Music Awards are completely free at every venue.

It’s a great way to catch some of the best local music in the state.
