“History Of The Eagles” Tour Coming To Mohegan Sun
The Eagles have a lot of history under their belt- enough, in fact, for a whole documentary. And another tour.
In support of the DVD and Blu Ray release of the “History of the Eagles” documentary April 30, the band announced a group of national tour dates that include a stop at Connecticut’s Mohegan Sun.
The legendary group of Glenn Frey, Don Henley, Joe Walsh, and Timothy B. Schmit play the arena on Thursday, July 18. Missing will be Don Felder, who had a messy split from the rest of the band in the early 2000′s.
Tickets are on sale next Friday, March 28, for $125 and $195 through Ticketmaster.
This is one of only 11 announced dates for The Eagles, who hold the RIAA record for the top selling album of all time, “Their Greatest Hits 1971-1975,” at more than 29 million units (running neck and neck with Michael Jackson’s “Thriller“).
Other area dates include the Comcast Center in Boston on July 19 and the Bethel Woods Center in New York on July 25.
