(Handout)

It’s been nearly three years since the last Van Morrison album of new material.
In other words, for fans of one of the most prolific rock musicians this side of the electric guitar, an ETERNITY.
“Born To Sing: No Plan B” marks a return to Blue Note Records for his second release with the label. Blue Note also carried 2003′s “What’s Wrong With This Picture.”
To put some perspective on what those nine years of separation have meant in terms of his releases, Morrison has unleashed three albums plus a live record. Morrison has at least 40 releases between live and studio albums, including “Astral Weeks Live” and “Keep It Simple,” both released in 2009.
This 10 track album was recorded in his native Belfast, and will be released October 2
