Pearl Jam have announced a North American tour, which includes a stop at Hartford’s XL Center on Oct. 25.
The two leg tour starts Oct. 11 in Pittsburgh and ends Dec. 6 with a concert in the band’s hometown (and cradle of grunge) of Seattle.
Tickets for the XL performance go on sale July 27 at 10 a.m. through XLCenter.com and Ticketmaster.com. All tickets are $69, including both seats and the general admission floor.
Members of the Pearl Jam Ten Club have access to a ticket pre-order starting today.
As a side note for those who still order tickets over the phone, XL Center concerts have a new phone number: 877-522-8499. Update your phone book.
The group announced the tour Monday in a video on their site, posted following the dramatic presence of a countdown clock. A second clock is still ticking on the band’s site, and will end its countdown on July 11.
Several media outlets have reported Pearl Jam are expected to release a new single titled “Mind Your Manners” on July 16, followed by a new album this October. The new countdown could be an official announcement, the single itself, or all of the above.
A new album would be the group’s tenth studio release.
