Noise rockers Swans are heading to Toad’s Place in New Haven for a show on Sunday, July 6 at 8 p.m., according to a Manic Productions press release.

CORRECTION: Tickets ($25) go on sale Friday, March 28 (NOT March 21) at noon through manicproductions.org or by visiting Redscroll Records in Wallingford, Conn. (Management changed the on-sale date.)

The band is releasing a new album, “To Be Kind,” on May 13 of this year. The album, which features guest spots by St. Vincent’s Annie Clark, Cold Specks and Little Annie, supposedly clocks in at over two hours (!). Available formats will include a triple-vinyl album, a double CD, a 2XCD Deluxe Edition (includes a live DVD) and in various digital formats (maybe even a USB stick).

Here’s a clip of Swans performing “To Be Kind” in London last April.
