Latin superstar Marc Anthony will be returning to the Nutmeg state this April.

Anthony’s performance will be at MGM Grand at Foxwoods. Tickets to the April 20 concert are $95 and $125, and go on sale Feb. 8 at 10 a.m. via foxwoods.com.

Country star Hunter Hayes, who was just in Connecticut opening for Carrie Underwood, has his own headlining tour that will be coming to the Toyota Oakdale Theatre on July 6. Tickets are $35 and $55.

The Oakdale is also hosting a performance of the Rock Of Ages Broadway musical on April 14. Those tickets go for $25 to $65. Both shows at the Oakdale are on sale Friday, Feb. 1 at 10 a.m. through Live Nation.

Northampton’s Calvin Theatre has three solid shows going on sale Friday. Ani DiFranco will be there this Fall, on Nov. 10. Tickets are $32.50 and $42.50. Coming up sooner, Bruce Hornsby performs April 20 for $38.50 and $48.50. The Mavericks play on April 11 for $29.50 and $39.50. Those performances are on sale through iheg.com.

New Zealand native Willy Moon brings his blend of dance hop and rock pop to Arch Street Tavern on Feb. 19. Tickets are on sale now for $10.40 through ticketfly.com and manicproductions.org.

The Valgeir Sigurdsson show on March 29 at The Outer Space in Hamden has been moved next door to the brand new, yet to be opened Spaceland Ballroom. Nick Zammuto, known for his project The Books, has been added. The show is on sale for $15 at manicproductions.org.

The Iron Horse has Turkuaz playing on March 7 for $10, and Vince Gilbert on March 30 for $15. Jeff Pitchell and Texas Flood will be at the Northampton venue on May 25 for $15. Those shows are on sale now at iheg.com.

Frank Turner & Sleeping Souls will be at Pearl Street on March 2 to give a preview of their new album, “Tape Deck Heart.” The show is $20, and on sale Friday at iheg.com.

Foreigner doesn’t need instructions to know how to rock. They’ll be playing on May 5 at MGM Grand. That show is on sale Feb. 1 for $20 and $45 at foxwoods.com.

Coming up this week:

Friday night has two titans of post-hardcore punk in the state. The Used headline the Hopeless Records “Take Action Tour” at the Webster Theatre in Hartford, while Geoff Rickly of Thursday joins Vinnie Caruana of The Movielife for the Vans Acoustic Basement Tour at The Space.

Zappa fans can catch an organ tribute Thursday night, Jan 31 at the Iron Horse.

The Love, Heart and Soul tour is at the MGM Grand on Saturday night, while Blue Oyster Cult is at the Ridgefield Playhouse (please, no more cowbell jokes).

The Wolf Den has Gin Blossoms on Friday and Mickey Thomas of Jefferson Starship on Saturday.

Ska fans can’t miss Reel Big Fish at Toad’s Place on Jan. 31, along with Pilfers and Dan Potthaust of MU330.
