Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band announced 15 new tour dates this week, including two shows at Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville on May 17-18.
The tour, in support of Springsteen’s latest album, “High Hopes,” begins at the U.S. Bank Arena in Cincinnati, Ohio on April 8 and wraps at Mohegan, unless more dates are added,. Notably, the E Street Band will perform during the second weekend of the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival on Saturday, May 3. Willie Nelson and Alison Krauss, two multiple Grammy winners, are bringing their respective bands to Simsbury Performing Arts Center this summer, as part of a big 35-city co-headlining tour. The two groups, Willie Nelson & Family and Alison Krauss & Union Station featuring Jerry Douglas, arrive at the Simsbury venue on Sunday, June 15 at 6 p.m. No word yet on when tickets ($38-$98) go on sale. Recent Grammy-winner Kacey Musgraves opens the show.
