Charles Bradley’s recent rise to popularity came late in his life, but age hasn’t stopped the screaming eagle of soul from pouring out his energy and love at the Pearl Street Ballroom this winter.

Bradley performs with His Extraordinaires at the Northampton venue on Feb. 5. Tickets are $17 in advance through iheg.com (on sale Friday), or $20 at the door.

There will be panic down 91 in Wallingford when Panic! At The Disco play The Dome at Oakdale on Jan. 29. The general admission show goes on sale this Friday at 10 a.m. through Ticketmaster, for $29.75.

Cat Power has a solo show in Connecticut, filling the Center Church on the Green in New Haven with her silken melodies. Nico Turner opens. The Nov. 15 show is on sale now at manicproductions.org, with advance tickets at $36.

Lee Ranaldo and The Dust are coming to Spaceland Ballroom, and the frontman is bringing along fellow Sonic Youth alumn Steve Shelley on drums. The group psyches out on Jan. 9 for $12, and tickets are on sale now at manicproductions.org.

Lady Antebellum have rescheduled their concert at the Mohegan Sun Arena, but it’s not that big of a deal since it doesn’t go on sale for another month. The group’s Feb. 22 date was moved up to Feb. 1. Tickets are $79 and $59, and go on sale Nov. 22 at 10 a.m. through Ticketmaster.

Los Lobos will be playing StageOne in Fairfield next spring. The March 6 show is on sale now at fairfieldtheatre.org, with Tickets at $105. FTC members can save $10 a ticket.

StageOne also has Ben Taylor coming on Dec. 19 for $25, and Steve Earle is at the Norwalk Concert Hall on Feb. 7 for $27, $37, or $47. Those shows are both on sale at fairfieldtheatre.org.

Infinity Hall is celebrating their fifth anniversary this week with a slew of food specials, plus cake and champagne following Thursday night’s John Sebastian show. In a few months they’ll ring in the new year with Kal David and Jeff Pevar. Tickets are $65, or pick up the special dinner/drinks/party package for $190 at infinityhall.com.

The Stafford Springs Palace Theater has Leon Russell on Jan. 8. Tickets are $70, and on sale at thestaffordpalacetheater.com.

Seawolf is at the Spaceland Ballroom on Feb. 17, with solid Connecticut acts Modern Merchant and The Sea The Sea opening. Tickets are $12 starting Friday at noon at manicproductions.org. Their/They’re/There is across the way at The Space on Dec. 21. Those $13 tickets can also be found through Manic.

Coming Up This Week:

Selena Gomez is at the Mohegan Sun Arena Saturday night. Tony Orlando performs there Sunday, but unfortunately for you it’s an invite-only event for preferred players.

The Fray are at MGM Grand Sunday night.

Next Wednesday, Oct. 23, has three solid shows: Minus The Bear at Toad’s Place, William Tyler of the Silver Jews for free at BAR, or Big Gigantic at the Calvin Theater.
