It’s not really summer in Hartford without a visit from the Dave Matthews Band, who’ll play at the newly branded XFINITY (formerly Comcast) Theatre in on Friday, July 11 at 8 p.m. and Saturday, July 12 at 7 p.m.
Billed as “a very special evening,” this time around Dave’s doing two sets per night, swapping acoustic and electric instruments throughout the set and stripping back occasionally for duos and small-group performances with different band members (and guitarist Time Reynolds, his usual acoustic partner-in-crime).

Long after he wraps his Super Bowl XLVIII halftime set, Bruno Mars brings his Moonshine Jungle World Tour to the XFINITY Theatre on Wednesday, July 9. Backed by his eight-piece Hooligans, Mars has a whole catalogue of hits to choose from; his two multi-platinum albums “Doo-Wops & Hooligans” and “Unorthodox Jukebox” have together sold more than 60 million copies (and the dude’s only 28).
