Upcoming Concerts: Dylan, Meek Mill, And Javier Colon Reschedules
Bob Dylan hasn’t gathered any moss in his 50 years of making music. The revolutionary and Presidential Medal of Freedom awardee is playing two area concerts this September.
Dylan comes to Mountain Park in Holyoke Friday, Sept. 7 and to Mohegan Sun the next day. Both concerts go on sale next Friday, July 13. The Holyoke show is through the Northampton Box Office and online at iheg.com for $55, $70, and $85. Tickets for Mohegan Sun cost $49.50, and are available through Ticketmaster.

Coming off Drake’s Club Paradise tour, rapper Meek Mill returns to Connecticut like a boss to hit the Dome at Oakdale on Aug. 22. Tickets go on sale Friday at 10 a.m. through livenation.com.
Boston’s Moufy plays the Iron Horse in Northampton Friday, Aug. 10. Advance tickets are on sale now through the Northampton Box Office for $12.50, or at the door for $15.
At Infinity Hall in Norfolk, tickets are on sale July 5 for David Bromberg and Junior Brown. Bromberg plays Nov. 2 for $54 and $69, and Brown plays Oct. 19 with tickets at $40 and $55.
Heirloom Arts Theatre is still rebounding from their temporary shutdown through half of June. Their reopening show is July 5 with a solid bill of local punk, hardcore, and thrash including Mountain Man, Heavy Breath, and Night Owls.
Two more shows originally slated for Danbury’s Heirloom have been moved. The Hold Steady show July 19 has shifted to Arch Street Tavern in Hartford. The Tallest Man On Earth on July 28 has been moved to an unlikely venue- Center Church on the New Haven Green. Previously purchased tickets will be honored, and are still available through manicproductions.org.
West Hartford’s Javier Colon, first season winner of “The Voice” has rescheduled his July 8 concert at Infinity Hall to Sept. 9. Tickets from July 8 will be honored. Refunds available at Infinity, 866-666-6306.

Stamford’s Alive@Five welcomes Creedence Clearwater Revisited Thursday night, and Ted Nugent plays Mohegan Sun Thursday. The casino should take bets on whether he says something that makes a national controversy.
MGM Grand hosts Sarah McLachlan Saturday, and Seal Wednesday, July 11.
Any hope Van Halen would reschedule their Mohegan date for this Saturday has been extinguished, as the show has been officially cancelled. Charge cards will automatically be credited, or contact the point of purchase for a refund.
Wye Oak has shows at The Space in Hamden Thursday and Northampton’s Iron Horse Saturday.
BAR in New Haven welcomes Deleted Scenes from London next Wednesday, and Saving Abel plays Hartford’s Webster Theatre the 11th as well.
