Coming up this week:
Quite a few good shows are coming up in the next week. First up is Smashing Pumpkins at Mohegan Sun on Sunday night, a concert postponed because of Superstorm Sandy. This will be the reunited band’s first Connecticut appearance since drummer Jimmy Chamberlin left the band.
Sunday night also has Grace Potter and the Nocturnals at Northampton’s Calvin Theatre, and Simone Felice at Cafe Nine in New Haven.
Rust never sleeps, and neither will Bridgeport on Tuesday night when Neil Young and Patti Smith play the Webster Bank Arena.
This Thursday night has Detroit Rebellion and The Grimm Generation at Black Eyed Sallys.
