Gotye, whose hit song “Somebody That I Used To Know” has been played and remixed ad infinitum, is coming to Mohegan Sun this fall.

Rock and Roll hall of famer Wanda Jackson is coming to the Iron Horse Music Hall October 14, and Umphrey’s McGee comes to the Calvin Theater on November 1. A little further south, the Webster Bank Arena in Bridgeport is having a hot night of cool R&B, with Goodfellaz and Maserati Mo presenting Dru Hill, Silk, Shai, and Jon B. The full night of slick jams is August 3, with tickets from $35 to $75 available now through Ticketmaster.
Also announced in the last week is a stop in Connecticut from rapper DMX. He’ll be at Toad’s Place on August 16. Tickets are $30 in advance through toadsplace.com or $35 the day of the show.
Back in the capital city of Hartford, spoken word fiend and liar Henry Rollins is bringing his Capitalism 2012 tour to the Webster Theater on November 2. The tour features political rants and observations from the former Black Flag singer, ending in Washington on the eve of election day. Advance tickets are $23.50 ($25 at the door) and available through webstertheater.com or tickets.com.
Dubstep DJ Datsik is coming to the Dome at the Oakdale in Wallingford on Friday, September 7. General admission tickets are $25, and go on sale this Friday at 10 a.m. through Live Nation.
Both of Bob Dylan’s area concerts are on sale Friday morning at 10 a.m. Tickets for the Mountain Park concert, September 7, are available through iheg.com, and The Mohegan Sun date, September 8, goes on sale through Ticketmaster.
Mohegan Sun welcomes Stevie Nicks Thursday night, while Matisyahu performs on the other side of the state at Stamford’s Alive@Five.
James Aldean hits the Comcast Theater for a sold out show Friday night.
Cafe Nine in New Haven is host to Murder By Death on Sunday night, and Girl In A Coma performs there Tuesday July 17 with Black Box Revelation.
Young the Giant is at The Dome at Oakdale Tuesday night, and The Hold Steady perform at Northampton’s Iron Horse Music Hall. They’ll play Arch Street Tavern in Hartford later in the week.
