He’s one of the biggest performers in the world, and Justin Timberlake has expanded his 20/20 Experience World Tour just enough to get in a Nov. 7 date at Hartford’s XL Center.

Tickets to the XL Center show will be priced at $45, $90, and $175. They go on sale Monday, Aug. 19 at 10 a.m. through Ticketmaster. However members of The Tennessee Kids fanclub will get a special presale code emailed to them, and MasterCard cardholders can access a presale as well. Both presales take place Aug. 14 at 10 a.m.

Chris Cornell has announced a new solo tour for the Fall that includes two dates in the Connecticut area. The follow up to the 2011 ‘Songbook’ tour will feature Cornell performing acoustic arrangements of songs across his career, including Soundgarden’s 2012 release ‘King Animal.’

Cornell plays Northampton’s Calvin Theater on Nov. 17, and the Shubert Theater in New Haven Nov. 20. The Calvin Theater performance goes for $38, $48, and $58. Tickets will be available Friday, Aug. 16, through iheg.com.

Tickets to the Shubert Theater concert are $45, $55, and $65, and go on sale Friday, Aug. 16 at 10 a.m. through Ticketmaster. An American Express cardholder presale starts on Aug. 14, and venue presales begin the next day, Aug. 15.

Weird Al Yankovic plays the Calvin Theater on Oct. 6, with tickets ranging from $28.50 to $48.50. Big Gigantic play there Oct. 23 for $19. Both those shows are on sale Friday at iheg.com.

Elvis Costello also has a show at the Calvin Theater on Nov. 3. Tickets are $55, $65, and $75, and on sale now at iheg.com.

Connecticut’s own The Stepkids play the Spaceland Ballroom on Sept. 13. Tickets to the show are $12. Man Man play across the lot at The Space on Sept. 10. Tickets to both shows are available at manicproductions.org.

EDM rocker Griz has two area dates, the first at the Pearl Street Ballroom on Nov. 9 for $20. He plays Toad’s Place the following day for $22. Both shows go on sale Friday at iheg.com and toadsplace.com.

Arika Kane is at Toad’s Place on Aug. 29 for $12. Tickets are on sale now. Lucero and Titus Andronicus play on Nov. 12 for $19.80, which goes on sale Friday at noon at toadsplace.com.

Max Creek play Infinity Hall on Nov. 30, with tickets at $35 and $50. Solas play there Dec. 8 for $34 and $49. Those shows are on sale Thursday at infinityhall.com.

A bunch of new shows have dropped at the Wolf Den. Vince Neil plays on Sept. 7, America Sept. 13, Vertical Horizon on Sept. 21, and Howie Day Sept. 22.

The Iron Horse has Rickie Lee Jones playing Oct. 7 with tickets at $50. Jesse Dee plays the room Nov. 14 for $10. Electro indie rockers Cherub play Pearl Street on Sept. 27, and Conspirator perform at Pearl Street on Oct. 5 for $17. Those shows are all on sale now at iheg.com.

Coming Up This Week:

Friday has Todd Rundgren playing at the Calvin Theater. A little to the south in Holyoke, Dropkick Murphys close out the season at Mountain Park.

Josh Ritter and the Royal City Band are at Toad’s on Sunday, and Chicago plays the Oakdale next Tuesday, Aug. 20.
