Upcoming Concerts: Katy Perry, Killers, Sharon Van Etten

Katy Perry announced via Twitter that she’s adding a Monday, July 7 show at Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville to her Prismatic World Tour.

Perry’s show boasts a “state-of-the-art stage, specifically designed by Katy,” which will allow Perry to get “closer to her fans than ever before.” Tickets ($100.50-$150.50) go on sale this Friday, Feb. 28 at 10 a.m. through ticketmaster.com or by calling (800) 745-3000. Capital Cities will open.

Two Las Vegas bands — the Killers and Panic! at the Disco — will bookend the spring/summer concert season at Mohegan Sun Arena.

The Killers ($54.50-$70) arrive on Wednesday, May 14 at 7:30 p.m. Panic! at the Disco ($32.50), who packed the Dome at Oakdale in Wallingford last month, plays Mohegan Sun Arena on Saturday, Aug. 2 at 7:30 p.m., with special guests Walk the Moon.

Tickets for Panic! at the Disco go on sale this Friday, Feb. 28 at 10 a.m. through ticketmaster.com or by calling 800-745-3000. For Killers tickets, you’ll have to wait until Saturday, March 1 at 10 a.m. (also through Ticketmaster).

Canadian twin sisters Tegan and Sara, fresh off the release of their latest album “Heartthrob” (not to mention the ubiquitous LEGO theme song “Everything Is Awesome”) perform at Toad’s Place in New Haven on Sunday, June 22 at 8 p.m. with My Midnight Heart and the Courtneys opening. Malian Tuareg band Tinariwen ($28) heads to the Ridgefield Playhouse in Ridgefield on Wednesday, March 26 at 8 p.m., with the Melodic opening.

Kingsley Flood ($10-$12) plays Cafe Nine in New Haven on Thursday, May 15 at 9 p.m. Sharon Van Etten ($12-$15) performs at the Ballroom at the Outer Space in Hamden on Sunday, May 11 at 8:30 p.m. Hellogoodbye and Vacationer ($15) head to the Space in Hamden on Tuesday, April 22 at 8 p.m., followed by the return of Saintseneca ($12) on Saturday, June 7 at 7:30 p.m. Tickets to all four shows go on sale this Friday, Feb. 28 at noon through manicproductions.org.

Jam-band Tauk ($10-$13) hits the Iron Horse Music Hall in Northampton on Friday, March 21 at 10 p.m. Legendary singer-songwriter Judy Collins ($55) is booked for two shows at the Iron Horse on Thursday, Sept. 11 and Friday, Sept. 12 at 7 p.m. Head to iheg.com for tickets and information.

Infinity Hall in Norfolk hosts the Summer of Love Concert ($69, $89), featuring Glen Burtnik and the Summer of Love Experience, on Friday, April 18 at 8 p.m. Tex-Mex stars Los Lonely Boys ($65, $95) play Infinity Hall on Wednesday, June 4 at 8 p.m. Grammy-nominated Austin, Texas band Reckless Kelly ($30, $45) head to Norfolk on Friday, May 16 at 8 p.m. Connecticut jam-band faves the McLovins team with the Interlopers ($19, $29) for an Infinity Hall show on Sunday, April 20 (aka 4/20) at 7:30 p.m. Visit infinityhall.com or call the box office at 866-666-6306 for tickets.
