Steely Dan, the decades-old brainchild of Donald Fagen and Walter Becker with millions of album sales under its belt, will head to the Toyota Oakdale Theatre in Wallingford on Tuesday, Sept. 16 at 7:30 p.m.
Dubbed the “Jamalot Ever After” Tour, the Dan’s road trip kicks off on July 2 in Portland, Ore. and continues through mid-September. (The Oakdale show is the second-to-last on the tour.) In addition to Fagen and Becker, the musicians in the touring band, including exceptional guitarist Jon Herington, are all Steely Dan vets. Celtic Thunder ($30-$50), on their first-ever U.S. Symphony Tour, will appear at Foxwoods Resort Casino on Dec. 5 at 8 p.m. in the Grand Theater.
