The postponements from Superstorm Sandy keep coming. Many have simply been part of a domino effect from outages in New York and New Jersey.
Here’s some of the new dates you may have missed this past weekend, plus the new announcements.
Smashing Pumpkins, scheduled to play this past Sunday at Mohegan Sun, have been moved to Sunday, Dec 9.
At Foxwoods, the Love, Heart and Soul show was moved to Saturday, Feb 2. Daddy Yankee show was switched to Friday, Dec 7 at 9 p.m.
Leon Russell is postponing his performances Nov 8 at The Klein in Bridgeport, as well as Nov 12 at Infinity Hall. Both are expected to be rescheduled for January, though no firm dates have been announced.
The Citizen Cope show at Toad’s Place, postponed from Oct 30, has been moved to Jan 22. Tickets for the original date will be honored, and new ones go for $25.
*Just Moved: The Wallflowers’ show at the Calvin Theatre in Northampton that was scheduled for this Friday, Nov 9, has been moved to Friday, Dec 28. All tickets will be honored.
In the realm of the new concerts, A$AP Rocky has been added to Rihanna’s stop at Hartford’s XL Center on March 15. Tickets are still available, ranging from $39.50 to $125 through Ticketmaster.
Matisyahu just played Toad’s this past weekend, but will make a more intimate appearance up I 91 this Feb 17. This will be stripped down acoustic set at Mortensen Hall at The Bushnell. Tickets go on sale Friday at 10 a.m. through Bushnell.org, and range from $25 to a special $75 meet and greet package.
Poco will be coming to Norfolk’s Infinity Hall on April 26. Tickets are on sale Nov 8 for $40 or $60 at infinityhall.com.
The Queen Extravaganza tribute tour is swinging back through the Oakdale Theatre on January 12. Tickets are on sale Friday at 10 a.m. for $25 and $35 through Live Nation.
Rude boys and girls should get their checks up for The Slackers at the Pearl Street Clubroom on Feb 2. Tickets are $18 at the door and $15 in advance through iheg.com.
David Dondero is the Outer Space Hamden on Nov 16 for $10. Casey Crescenzo of The Dear Hunter will across the way at The Space on Nov 23rd for $12 in advance and $14 at the door. Tickets to both are available at manicproductions.org.
Jus Allah of Jedi Mind Tricks is at Lilly’s Pad (Toad’s Place upstairs) on Dec 6. Adlib and Cephallic open, along with Hartford’s own party starter Benn Grim, plus self declared ‘weirdo hardcore’ band Heavy Breath. Tickets are $8 in advance at toadsplace.com.

Hope you already got tickets to Carrie Underwood at the XL Center for Saturday- it’s sold out. But Fountains of Wayne at Infinity Hall isn’t.
Mirah is at The Space in Hamden Sunday night, and at the Iron Horse the following day.
Friday night has Kate Callahan playing a free show in Hartford a sprat of the Firebox music series (sponsored by the Courant’s sister publication, the Advocate).
